Riot at Sounds Like Paper concert in NYC

A riot broke out on South Street Seaport. Drake, Hanson and Ninjasonic were due to perform a free concert which was sponsered by Paper Magazine. Sponsers expected that there would about 10,000 fans, but in fact 25,000 fans showed up. Irate fans started throwing garbage and furniture at each other and ended up breaking Hanson's mixing board. I believe that the riot broke out due to location, space and the artists performing having such a huge fan base. NYPD dispensed the crowd at about 7 o'clock pm.  Six fans suffered minor injuries, and two people were arrested on minor charges. Paper magazine released this statement on thir website:
"As you may have heard, the kickoff of the Seaport's summer music series last night with Drake, Hanson and Ninjasonik was cut short when many more fans showed up than Pier 17 could accommodate. Though we hated to disappoint everyone, it was the right call given the circumstances. Seaport security and the NYPD handled the situation appropriately. A few people acted up, but for the most part a cool-headed crowd left the Pier peaceably. The good news is that 9no one was seriously hurt and we are looking forward to more fun at the Seaport and beyond."
