According to TMZ a Chicago judge on Friday (June 25) finalized his divorce to Siohvaughn, but there are still some things that need to be figured out like: custody of their two children and the division of marital assets. The judge Marya Nega says Dwyane Wade's temporary custody of the children will remain in place. Siovaughn did not show up for the hearing. Dwyane states:
"I'm very relieved that the judge granted my divorce today ... this has been a long process and I hope we can all move forward. The most important thing to me right now is the next phase when the judge will decide on the custody of our kids. That is the big event in my life that I am focused on."
