Full Figured Designers

Jewel Shannon born in the Caribbean island of Barbados. Jewel  draws constant inspiration from the Caribbean. Her designs have been featured in several news periodicals in the United States such as the New York Daily News, the New York Times, Smooth Magazine Black Mens and Fox 5, as well as on several other television and cable programs. A sponsor of several charitable events and college-affiliated fundraisers, Jewel Shannon received recognition for her designs at many national organizations.

Susan Moses began her career as a celebrity stylist in music and film. Some of her clients include: Brandy, Hilary Duff, Queen Latifah, Wynonna Judd, and Jill Scott to name a few. Her greatest muse has been full figured women. She has partnered with Sunil Ramchandani a former designer at Anne Klein to create a beautiful collection of runway inspired garments that is totally "style beyond size".
Belladonna Marie(Jennifer Wiglesworth) long-time friend and business colleague of FFFWeek™ Executive Producer Gwen DeVoe, and designer of 20 years, the late Charles Coleman inspired fashion with cutting edge designs for the sophisticated plus size woman who dared to be distinct. Mr. Coleman's flare for creating classic couture for curvy silhouettes will live on through the collection he left behind. She unites fashion and full figured divas of style.

Canadian designer, Lotis, was created by this powerhouse trio design team to fill a demand for quality casual and business attire. LaMaica Fashions (Marvalyn Nelson), been creating male and female designs for over 25 years. LaMaica Fashions originates in the island of Jamaica and is now based in the U.S.The 2009 showcase during Full Figured Fashion Week was spectacular. Pheline, Ava Jones ( born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto) had an early passion for fashion. In 2009, Jones established company, Pheline and debuted her ready to wear collection at the Fuller Woman Expo both in Canada and the United States. The collection is inspired by the figure flattering femininity of the 50′s and 60′s- was designed and created with the fuller figured woman in mind.
Monif C, has earned a rightful title as one of the best designers for full figured women. With trendy and flirty designs which remits exceptional structure and quality presentation for the modern curvy woman and when it comes down to swimsuits Monif C. is considered the reigning queen of design. The line has been featured on BET's Rip The Runway.

Osun Designs (pronounced aw-shoon), , born of Jamaican parentage she worked as a designer in African countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania. OSUN Designs is named after the Yoruba Deity of all that is beautiful, sensual and womanly.
