M.I.A aka Mathangi Arulpragasam, is upset at her record label Universal Music Group because YouTube made the decision to remove her new music video "Born Free" due to the violence. She then tweeted; "F--- UMG WHO WON'T SHOW IT ON YOUTUBE! FOR THE U.S." She later thought about what she said and re-tweeted; "OK, NOT UMG FAULT!" Some seem to think that the video has a daring political message about police states. A rep from YouTube stated that the decison had nothing to do with the brutality, politics nor the meaning. The video violated the sites terms "gratuitous violence." M.I.A new album is due out in June (the album is still untitled).
