MJB has created her very own line of sunglasses uniquely entitled Melodies. Since her debut in 1991 sunglasses have been MJB's signature style so this venture was bound to happen. Mary is very hands on and designs the shades herself in conjunction with the eyeglass designing company SpyOptics. She has also been working on her new album titled Stronger With Each Tear as well as working on a new perfume line 'My Life' (Carol's Daughter) that will be featured on HSN beginning July 31st . The perfume has notes of gardenia petals, Bartlett pear and white freesia with a heart of tuberose, blooming jasmine, gold lily and apricot flower and base notes of cashmere woods, praline, sesame and incense. It will sell for $46 for 1.7 ounces and will be sold with a clutch purse. One dollar from every bottle sale will go to her foundation, the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now. She also has plans of creating a fashion line.
