Ms. Badu has never had any problems expressing herself as an artist. But, currently there has been an uproar regarding her video "Window Seat". I think that people are not understanding the concept of the video. In the video Erykah's sheds the layers of her skin, essentially evolving as she progresses. Naturally, she was shot near the spot where JFK was shot, because novelty is too much for the American public. But, she is reborn as her evolved self, laughing at those who try to restrain progress and enlightenment. She strips to express libration. Check out video and let me know your thoughts. I personally love the video. For once we have a positive video that makes you think and not a video that degrades women. Go Erykah!
