If you may or may not know Jamaican drug lord and leader of the Shower Posse gang (Tivoli Gardens), Christopher 'Dudus' Coke, 42 son of  accused drug lord Lester Lloyd Coke (aka Jim Brown, died at the General Penitentiary in 1992 ) is wanted by the  United States on drug and gun-trafficking charges, is now on the run.   Citizens of Kingston, Jamiaica have been reiting for the past 5 days. security forces raided Kingston projects looking for Coke, but came up empty handed.  Police detained 980 Jamaicans, which have been released in the recent days police said today.  So far, 70 civilians and three security officers are listed by the government as killed during the fighting.  Deputy Police Commissioner Charles Scarlett said about 10 criminal suspects were still being detained at a lockup but have not yet been charged. Rumors are widespread that gunmen loyal to Coke managed to escape Tivoli Gardens through drainage sluices in gullies that crisscross the impoverished communities of West Kingston. Col. Coke has ties to Prime Minister Bruce Golding's Labour Party, which gets a large number of votes from the Tivoli Gardens area Golding represents in parliament. As a community "don," he provides services and protection to the poor West Kingston community — all funded by a criminal empire that seemed untouchable until the U.S. demanded his extradition. U.S. authorities say he has been trafficking cocaine to the streets of New York City since the mid-1990s, allegedly hiring island women to hide the drugs on themselves on flights to the U.S.  Golding had stonewalled the U.S. extradition request for nine months, straining relations. A U.S. State Department report earlier this year questioned the Caribbean island's reliability as an ally in the war against drugs. The violence erupted about a week after Golding said he would not oppose extradition any longer.  A U.S. law enforcement official in New York said a lawyer for Coke has been in negotiations with the U.S. Justice Department about his client's possible safe removal to New York to face charges. Coke's legal troubles date back to 2009, when he was charged with murder after he allegedly shot and killed Michael Porter at the Metropolitan Bus Terminus in downtown Kingston.

Despite critics assault, I thought that the movie was EXCELLENT! It will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling on the inside. The fashion was bananas! I was so glad that Samantha was back to her usual self. Miranda is balancing work, motherhood and marriage life well. Carrie and Big have a great marriage and seem to glide over the minor bumps in the road. All in all I give the movie two snaps and a twirl.  If you are wanting to go out and comp the entire wardrode get ready to dish out $7 million.  The karaoke scene alone was about $43,000. According to fashion-spotters, Chanel has the most pieces in the film, closely followed by Dior and Roberto Cavalli. When it comes to shoes, Manolos come in second place to the red-soled Christian Louboutins, which get their very own close-up in the film’s opening sequence.  One of the top designers for Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie is Halston Heritage, Bronwyn Cosgrave says: “Halston is banking on the success of the film to boost its sales.” I will have to admit that the film is a New York catwalk with a plot.

RIP Dennis Hopper

Actor Dennis Hopper, 74 died (May 29) after a long bout with prostate cancer.  Hopper was an american actor, producer, artist. He starred in such films as Rebel Without a Cause (1955) with James Dean, Easy Rider (1969), Apocalypse Now (1979), Speed (1994).  He also directed such movies as the the 1988 hit Colors and was nominated for an Emmy in 1991 for HBO hits Paris Trout and Doublecrossed.  Many may have not known that Hopper was a copious photographer, painter and sculptor. He is most know for creating the cover art for Ike and Tina's album River Deep – Mountain High (released in 1966).

RIP Gary Coleman

The death was reported by CBS News, citing the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, where Mr. Coleman, 42 had been hospitalized after an injury. My prayers go out to his family and friend, RIP.

50 Cent Loses Weight

Rapper, 50 Cent aka Curtis James Jackson III has lost about 60 pounds for an upcoming role in 'hen Things Fall Apart'. He will be playing the role of a high school football player who is who is diagnosed with cancer.

The sexy rapper who normally weighs 216 is now 160 and lost the weight in nine weeks.

According to In Touch magazine rapper Common & tennis sensation Serena Williams have parted ways.  I don't know about anyone else, but rapper, Common was FINE in the movie Just Wright .

Gary Coleman In ICU

Former child star GARY COLEMAN has suffered a serious brain haemorrhage and is currently "on life support" in hospital, according to his manager.  He was admitted to a local hospital in Utah on Wednesday (26May) following a fall at his home. He was fully conscious after the accident but his condition gradually worsened.   He lost consciousness on Thursday (27May) and is now being treated in an intensive care unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

Alicia Keys IS PREGGERS!

Representatives for the couple confirmed that singer,Alicia Keys is expecting her first child by producer / rapper, Swizz Beatz Thursday (May 27) night. I guess congratulations  in is order...

It was also reported that she is 4 months pregnant and the 'happy' couple will be married later this year in a private ceremony.

Nas & Kelis's Divorce Is Finally Final!

Looks like it was a sad day for rapper, Nas because his now ex-wife Kelis took him all the way to the bank! He was ordered to pay $47,249.42 in back child support and $40,454 in back spousal support. The judge also ordered him to pay $10 grand a month in spousal support until he pays off almost $300,000 he owes to Kelis in back child/spousal support. He also has to pay 90% of Kelis’s legal fees in the amount of $155,787.28 and $48,549.83 to cover Kelis’ accounting expenses. all I can say is:

Rumor has it that singer, Alicia Keys is preggers. In the picture above she does seem to look pregnant. I hope this is NOT a ploy to keep Swizz Beatz from straying. This may explain the reason why they are moving in together and the sudden wedding rumors. She probably has not confirmed the rumors because she wants to keep her not so squeaky  image clean and wants to wait until either the public engagement/wedding announcement. Brittany Murphy's Husband Found Dead!

Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead . Murphy’s cause of death was ruled cardiac arrest brought on by pneumonia, anemia and prescription drugs. Monjack, 39, initially blamed the 32-year-old actress’ death on a Hollywood studio that dropped Murphy from the "Happy Feet" sequel. Though the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has already ruled natural causes in the death, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that prescription drugs may also have played a role. Monjack was also scheduled for heart bypass surgery in September, according to TMZ. Murphy’s mother, who discovered her daughter unconscious on the bathroom floor five months ago, found Monjack’s body Sunday night.

This is so very sad to me. Its most likely to me that Simon killed himself and the family is trying to cover it up. Either way, my prayers go out to the families.

According to reports,  Elin Nordegren is asking for $750 million in their divorce settlement.  She is also demanding full custody of the children and is not agreeing to a confidentiality clause. The clause would not allow her to write a book or do interviews after the divorce is final.  Due to the requests, the couple have not been on speaking terms. In 2009 Forbes reported that Tiger's fortune was only worth $600 million.  It is almost certain that Elin will not get what she is requesting due to the huge amount.  I do on the other hand think that the settlement amount will go down in history and make news headline everywhere.

After a marriage of over 30 years, the couple split up in 2000 and Sheila received an estimated $400 million in the settlement. Both have continued their business dealings, owning majority stakes in professional men's and women's basketball teams. In 2005, Sheila married William T. Newman Jr., the judge who presided over her original divorce case.

Looks like Shaq has re-connected with his old flame Lisa Ellis (former Sony Exec), who he used to cheat with during his marriage with Shaunie. Lisa Ellis is the ex-girlfriend to Congressman Harold Ford. But, here is the kicker, she is also the same women tied to Wyclef Jean and that Yele Haiti mess. Remember she is the women that used to Jean's manager but was fired due to Jean's wife Marie Claudinette finding nude pictures of her in his phone.  Jean was also accused of paying her a disproportionate salary because she was his "mistress." Then Jean gets on Oprah and starts crying...lol, this is a mess! She is a PAID mistress though...
